ICU patients on ventilators often face life-threatening complications from the build-up of respiratory secretions, requiring frequent manual intervention by caregivers. To address this challenge, CurioEdge designed and developed TrachEase, an automated solution that detects and removes respiratory obstructions in real time. By enabling uninterrupted breathing, preventing infections, and eliminating the need for manual suctioning, TrachEase not only improves patient safety and comfort but also supports critical care teams in saving lives through timely, reliable intervention.
