Project Introduction:
Set within the historic Qila Mubarak in Patiala, Ran Baas is a luxury heritage hotel shaped by centuries of cultural exchange, where Mughal and Rajput influences meet the distinctive character of Punjab. For Shades of India Home, the palace became the starting point for a textile design language that draws from its architecture, history and cultural richness. The project reinterprets these influences through a contemporary lens, creating textiles that feel rooted in heritage while remaining relevant to a modern hospitality experience.
