Project Introduction:

This single-story sustainable home in Ezhupunna blends traditional Kerala architecture with contemporary tropical design. Inspired by the kullakadavu concept, a central pond anchors the residence, encouraging family interaction, enhancing the landscape, and ensuring year-round moisture and cooling, especially in hot months. Wide openings maximize natural light and ventilation, creating a bright, airy interior. With a perennial water supply, the pond functions as both a practical and aesthetic feature, making the home an eco-friendly sanctuary rooted in tradition yet attuned to modern living.
