Project Introduction:
The Coral Bones Project was born out of an inspiration to mimic amorphous shapes symbolic of corals and underwater flora. The idea was to use waste metal debris, leftover from the sand casting process to make wearable and usable jewelry, leather clutches and home products. All metel used is recycled brass/aluminum and each piece is a one-off form in shape and texture. The use of seemingly waste metal bits across three different product categories reflects the versatility of these metal bits.
