A 6, 500 sq. ft. gallery that houses archaeological finds from WWII. These artefacts from the past are reconnected to the activities that once gave them meaning by materially and symbolically remaking
the world they came from. Visitors to the thematic museum have the opportunity to go back to moments that formed an important part of history. It is in this spirit that the National Museums and Monuments Commission assist, the Imphal Peace Museum is an attempt to help people understand the impact of the past on present day identity and national unity.
