Conventional Portable Magnetic Drilling Machines (MDMs) often face premature wear of annular cutters due to inconsistent manual feed pressure, vibrations, and operator fatigue. Variations in operator strength, mood, and handling of new versus worn cutters further reduce efficiency and tool life. To solve this, the Auto Feed Magnetic Drilling Machine was developed, an intelligent system that automatically adjusts feed pressure to match the cutter load. This innovation ensures optimal drilling performance, minimises vibrations, and eliminates operator dependency. By extending cutter life by approximately 150%, it enhances productivity, reduces costs, and redefines reliability in industrial drilling applications.
