Project Introduction:
The Mode (meaning ‘fold’) project revolves around understanding the versatility of leather as a material. Leather has been a part of Indian craft for a long time now, from Kolhapuri chappals to other designer accessories. The agenda was to give leather craftsmanship a whole new approach by making a bag that would turn a flat piece of leather into a 3D and functional object.
