Project Introduction:
Azamgarh, black pottery, was almost a languishing craft, needs a lot of involvement, improvement and innovations, in order to come over again in the market as a unique pottery craft altogether.
To take this craft forward and help it grow again, I took an initiative to work for this, and about this craft. In this project, I researched deeply about the craft and its process. Taking this research forward I worked upon the issues related to the process in making, the product range, the marketing and the awareness of it.
Also through this project, I was able to give in a different look to the craft and a different product range to it. As mostly terracotta cluster work on jewelry, But here they haven’t explored the sector of jewelry, Which I decided to take it further
