“India’s Best Design Student” Award is open to all design students pursuing courses in various disciplines, including Architecture, Product Design, Graphic Design, Animation, Fashion Design, Interior Design, Commercial Art, Printing, Film, Photography, Theatre, Crafts, Textiles, Ceramics and more.

- You must be a student currently pursuing a full-time (4 years) design course.
- Only 3rd year, 4th year Bachelors, and Masters students are eligible.
- If you have graduated, your graduation year must be the same as the year of the award. So if you have graduated in 2024, you are eligible to enter India’s Best Design Student Award 2024.

No, there is no cash prize at India’s Best Design Student Award. All participants get a Certificate of Participation, while winners receive a Winner’s Certificate and a Medal.
India’s Best Design Student Awards are judged by a panel of renowned designers, industry experts, and academics.
They evaluate the submissions based on creativity, originality, technical skills, and overall presentation.
Each entry will be judged by multiple jury and their selections will be collated to declare the winners.
- You can submit only your academic projects which you have completed during your undergraduate or postgraduate courses.
- Freelance and professional projects are inadmissible, and will be disqualified.
- You can enter your graduation project as one of the projects.
Yes, you can submit a group project. Any group project that you submit will be treated as an individual project and will be credited to you.
Your entry must include four academic projects.
- Two of those should be skill projects with only the final results, no explorations.
- The other two projects must be design projects that should include the explorations along with the final results.

Yes, there is a one-time entry fee which will be used to defray the expenses of administrative and production processes involved in awarding the winners of IBDSA.
