Project Introduction:
The Traditional South Indian style drip coffee filter, handmade and re-interpreted in Stoneware and cork. This one is comfortable to hold and use even when hot! The set contains a Top Cup, Bottom Cup, Brass Press disc and two corks. The bottom cup doubles up as a serve ware.
Ceramic by nature does not confine to precision and the beauty of the material itself is in the handmade variations. The main challenge was to industrialise this handmade craft process with template and tools, yet retain the nature and handmade process.
